The Palisade Peach Festival and Colorado Mountain Winefest are two of the Grand Junction area's most distinctive events. See what's on tap at each, from fresh fruit and live music to wine tastings and grape stomps. Come celebrate the bounty of the harvest!

Palisade Peach Festival

Surrounded by lush orchards that yield some of the country's best peaches, Palisade has a century-long tradition of harvest festivals celebrating this sweet, juicy fruit. The peach-themed fun continues at the annual festival, where fruit lovers can partake in a variety of classic, crowd-pleasing events – an ice cream social, street dance, pancake breakfast, recipe contest, "Pitch a Pit" contest, a parade and more. There are peaches a-plenty, of course, including a robust selection of peach-infused food and drink.

Colorado Mountain Winefest

Thousands of wine lovers make the annual pilgrimage to the Colorado Mountain Winefest in Palisade to sample a growing array of wines. The only festival held in the heart of Colorado's wine country, this culture-rich event features everything from hands-on workshops and winemaker dinners to jazz concerts and art. Whether you want to immerse yourself in the winemaking experience or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the fruits of a winemaker's labor, this festival will give you much to savor.
