Breakfast on the Colorado National Monument
Top attractions for tour operators in Grand Junction range from the natural to new-fangled. The Colorado National Monument is perhaps the area's biggest draw, with its canyons, monoliths and rust-tinted rock formations. It's the perfect place for a culinary adventure. Breakfast on the Monument offers delicious entrees with a breathtaking canyon view. Take a break with a picnic in one of two monumental areas: near the Saddlehorn Campground or in the Devils Kitchen picnic area near the East Entrance. The drive through the monument takes approximately two and a half hours and entertaining step-on guides are available. (Note that groups of 15 or more require a permit.)

Downtown Grand Junction makes for another great tour. Enstrom's carries delicious handcrafted toffee and chocolate and has an Internet café. They also now host toffee-making demonstrations that will interest and entice folks of all ages. While you're in the area, note the sculptures that adorn the streets as part of Grand Junctions' renowned Art on the Corner program. These contemporary pieces make fitting complements to the boutiques and restaurants that line downtown sidewalks.
