The Grand Junction Visitor & Convention Bureau offers complimentary services to make sure your event in Colorado is a success. Below are the free meeting and convention services we provide:
Lodging and Meeting Room Availability Survey/Site Inspections -- Save time and effort, and let us query lodging properties on your behalf. They will respond directly to you with written offers. If you want to do site inspections, we can make all of the arrangements and accompany you to help answer any questions.
Nametags -- You provide the list and logo; we print the tags. Yes, this is free and includes the printing and name badge holder.
Welcome Packets -- Packets include a visitor guide with city map, restaurant guide, cultural passport and Colorado Wine Country tour map. These packets also work great for holding your conference programs. Plus, we'll stuff them for you.
Helping Hands -- VCB staff and trained volunteers help as packet stuffers, silent auction aides, registration desk staff and convention assistants. Registration assistants will check in your attendees professionally and quickly. They can also act as room monitors and provide conference support. That extra help you always wished for is available here.
Information Table
* VCB Information Specialists will staff an area information booth with brochures and maps during registration and peak periods. This is recommended for groups of 200 or more attendees.
* An unstaffed information table can be set up and restocked as needed. This is recommended for groups of 50 or more attendees.
* For groups with less than 50 attendees, we suggest the Welcome Packets.
Attendance Builders -- Electronic Postcards (e-postcards) help build excitement about and attendance at your event. Created and mailed for free.
Information Resource -- Our Convention Services Coordinator can provide creative suggestions for tours and social events, and is a valuable resource for local service providers such as printers, caterers and transportation providers.
Photos & Text for Websites and Conference Programs -- We have an extensive library of digital photos, site maps and area information articles that we'll happily share with you.
Spouse/Family What-to-Do Packets -- More attendees are bringing their spouses and families to conferences these days. We can suggest activities for families' free time, complete with brochures and maps.
List of Area Press Contacts -- Want to share information about your event? We'll help.
