The green fairways against the red rocky cliffs make this one of the most picturesque places to break out the clubs. Named the best public course in Colorado, the Golf Club at Redlands Mesa is reason enough for a visit to Grand Junction. If you start out early, the cool crisp morning will give way to a warm sunny back nine, leaving everyone thirsty for a tasty craft brew.

They’ve been doing it since the ‘70s and have helped many of the local vintners and brewers refine their craft. While meandering Main Street, be sure to stop into a storefront that strikes your fancy and pick up something special for whoever let you get away with the guys.
