In 1978, a group of local musicians made a long time dream a reality with the founding of the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra. The GJSO has since grown into one of the leading cultural organizations in Grand Junction. The Symphony performs 8 Subscription Concerts per year, an outdoor concert every summer, and an annual Gala. The organization continues its strong commitment to music education programming through various programs.
