Located in the Redlands area with breathtaking views of the best scenery on the Western Slope, Two Rivers Winery & Chateau is a great venue for wine lovers. Expect to see all of the iconic area landmarks: the Colorado National Monument, Bookcliff Mountain Range, and Grand Mesa. The owners, Bob and Billie Witham, are local to the area and have been running the winery since 1999. The Chateau includes a conference/event center with a fully equipped catering kitchen, which means everything you need for your ceremony and reception is on-site. You can also stay at the winery in one of the Chateau’s beautiful rooms.

There is nothing more memorable than having your wedding in one of the most beautiful natural places in the country. Established in 1911, Colorado National Monument is filled with unique rock formations, expansive views, and all kinds of wildlife from mammals to raptors to reptiles. And what could be more perfect for a wedding than a photo with the Kissing Couple rock formation in the background? Note: You’ll need a permit to have your wedding here, and group size is limited. Please visit the National Park Service for more information.

This historic venue was built in 1923 and is still one of the largest performing halls on the Western Slope. Located in the heart of downtown Grand Junction, the Avalon Theatre is a unique spot for an urban wedding. But that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice the mountain views—the theater’s Roof Top Terrace offers a reception space with gorgeous views of the town and surrounding scenery. If you’re planning a larger reception, the elegant Two Rivers Convention Center is less than a half-mile away and has opportunities for courtyard or downtown photos.

It might surprise you that the Doubletree Hotel has an outdoor venue, but with 10 acres of lawn, trees dotting the property, and plenty of room for guests to stay, this is the ideal space for a large wedding with an outdoor theme. Located just off I-70, the hotel is easy to access and backs up to the private Bookcliff Country Club. The ballroom is a tasteful indoor option, and there are professional chefs on-site ready to prepare a variety of foods, whether you’d like breakfast, lunch, a dinner buffet, or plated meals for your special day.

Named the “No. 1 Golf Course You Can Play in Colorado” by Golfweek for multiple years in a row, this upscale clubhouse is also a popular wedding venue. The ceremony includes views of the well-manicured course and unique rock formations of Colorado National Monument in the distance. The Clubhouse has everything you would need and is only a few minutes away from downtown, making it far enough away for uninterrupted views but close enough for your guests to have access to the amenities in town.

Designed specifically for weddings and events, this venue offers a country feel on the outskirts of Colorado’s wine country. The land is home to a cherry orchard, fragrant flowers, mature trees, and views of the vineyards and mountains. If you’ve been dreaming of a reception under fairy lights and tall, leafy trees, The Wedding House delivers. Located about eight miles from downtown Palisade, on Orchard Mesa, the site can accommodate ceremonies ranging from a small elopement to a gathering of up to 100 guests.

Besides the venues themselves, there are a variety of hotels and lodging options in Grand Junction for your guests and plenty of activities to keep them busy. Check out our Visitor Guide for more information and ideas.
