Located in the high desert canyon country of western Colorado and eastern Utah, McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area consists of approximately 123,430 acres of BLM-administered land near Grand Junction, Colorado.
Camping: There are 3 designated campgrounds in Rabbit Valley. Go to Exit #2 off of I-70 and head south. There is also designated dispersed at Rabbit Valley, just look for a brown past with a tent symbol. The Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness located just 2 miles southwest of Fruita offers plenty of dispersed car camping along the roads. Overnight camping is available at 35 designated campsites with a permit.
