Colorado’s Western Slope Celebrates Rich Agricultural Heritage at Summer Festivals

 - Nearby Palisade, Colo., invites visitors to enjoy the fruit of its labor and sweet smell of celebration at peach, lavender and wine festivals -

Grand Junction, Colo. (June 2016) – The Grand Junction Visitor and Convention Bureau (GJVCB)invites visitors to experience the tradition of its peach, lavender and wine festivals in Palisade, Colo. The Colorado Mountain Winefest celebrates its 25th anniversary and is the oldest and largest wine festival in the state. In its 48th year, the Peach Festival invites people to harken back to the peach harvest festivals of the late 1800s.
