Visit Grand Junction, the Destination Marketing Organization for Grand Junction, a Department of the City of Grand Junction, continues to monitor COVID-19 and the rapidly changing situation it entails.
On March 25, Governor Polis and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issued a Stay At Home Order for the State of Colorado, mandating that residents stay home unless they are providing or seeking essential services, including medical needs and groceries. This order begins at 6:00 a.m. March 26 and will remain in place until April 11 at 11:59 p.m.
The Stay At Home Order follows a public health order issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to close bars, restaurants, gyms, theaters, and casinos to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Establishments may continue to offer food and beverage using delivery service, window service, walk-up service, drive-through service, or drive-up service.
The City of Grand Junction is continually monitoring the situation and has been in close communication with County and State officials during this time.
Visit Grand Junction, in coordination with the City of Grand Junction, continues to reach out and be in close contact with restaurants, hotels, retail stores and activity businesses, as well as the community and organizations within the city.
