We all have been inspired by poetry at some point in our life. Some read and write poetry regularly, and others stumble upon a verse that inspires them in an unexpected way. Whether you are an accomplished laureate or more along the lines of Jack and Jill went up the hill…Visit Grand Junction wants to hear from you!
Visit Grand Junction is seeking a Love Letter to Grand Junction that shares just how special this place is that we get to call home. In your poem, be inspired by the natural beauty, your favorite hidden gems, or the unique flavors that showcase a vibrant area. For inspiration, check out former Poet Laureate of Colorado, David Mason’s Love Letter to Colorado.
There is no length requirement. Submit as many poems as you would like considered. A committee will select a winner and will create a video similar to this. Visit GJ will credit the author.
By sending your poem, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions below.
