Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 cup soda of your choice or prosecco
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions:
- In a bowl, add cranberries and drink of your choice.
- Soak overnight or at least 8 hours. (You can also coat them in an egg white wash mixture if you prefer to skip the overnight soak).
- Drain cranberries (drink the juice or use as a simple syrup for drinks).
- Toss the drained cranberries in powdered sugar using a large Ziploc bag.
- Shake and make sure all are generously coated until completely white.
- Spread coated cranberries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake in a 200-degree oven for 6 minutes.
- You can eat them right away, but store them in an airtight container in the fridge. They are even better cold.
- Pop them in your mouth and enjoy the sweet snap they make.
