Elizabeth's recipe

Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup soda of your choice or prosecco
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, add cranberries and drink of your choice.
  2. Soak overnight or at least 8 hours. (You can also coat them in an egg white wash mixture if you prefer to skip the overnight soak).
  3. Drain cranberries (drink the juice or use as a simple syrup for drinks).
  4. Toss the drained cranberries in powdered sugar using a large Ziploc bag.
  5. Shake and make sure all are generously coated until completely white.
  6. Spread coated cranberries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in a 200-degree oven for 6 minutes.
  8. You can eat them right away, but store them in an airtight container in the fridge. They are even better cold.
  9. Pop them in your mouth and enjoy the sweet snap they make.
