Tater Tot Casserole - Siggie Carpenter

Ingredients:

  •  1 - 2 lbs of ground beef (I often use ½ hamburger with ½ pork sausage)
  • 1 onion (small-medium), chopped
  • 1 - 2 cans of mushroom soup (undiluted). I’ve also used cream of celery, cheese & chicken.
  • Tator Tots for the top layer (you won’t use the entire bag)

Instructions:

  1.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  2. The amount of meat depends on the amount of people. For 4  people, use a square baking pan and 1 lb of meat.
  3. Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic, basil, etc. Sometimes, we add mushrooms, bell peppers, and cheese.

Notes:

  • My kids love topping it with ketchup.
