In partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office international team, Tiana Salles, a writer for Les Hardis, featured Grand Junction in the article "Restaurants not to be missed in Colorado".

The article says, "Grand Junction gets its name from its location at the confluence (or 'junction') of the Colorado and Gunnison rivers. An arid area, home to the famous national monument, an ochre canyon made up of rocks over a billion years old. An arid area that owes its fertile zone to the Colorado River, which the locals are trying to protect.

At Bin 707, sustainability is no empty phrase. This restaurant on Grand Junction's main street stands out for its commitment to responsible cuisine, showcasing Colorado producers. Chef Josh Niernberg, recognized for his ethics and vision, is a semifinalist in the 2022 James Beard Outstanding Chef competition and a semifinalist in the 2020 James Beard Best Chef Mountain Region competition. Bin 707 Foodbar is a member of Zero Foodprint, recognized as a Good Food 100 restaurant in 2018 and 2019, and a James Beard Smart Catch 'leader.' The chioggia beet tartare is every bit as good as its meat counterpart. Perfectly seasoned and spiced, it offers an original vegan and sustainable alternative. As is the maitake mushroom and chickpea miso pizza. For salad lovers, the lettuce heart with verjuice vinaigrette is a must-try."
