First Friday Art Walk
First Friday Art Walk in Grand Junction takes place on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., inviting guests Downtown to explore galleries, shops, and live art experiences throughout the evening. Stroll the walkable streets, enjoy live music, and connect with local artists before making your way to The Art Center of Western Colorado, where new exhibits debut across multiple galleries each month. A cash bar with beer and wine, along with hors d’oeuvres from the Art Center Guild, rounds out the experience. Open from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, it’s the perfect place to start—or end—the night.

Immerse yourself in fragrant fields and local charm at a stunning location along the Colorado River, only 20 minutes from Grand Junction. Events include lavender farm tours, workshops, artisan goods, live music, and lavender-infused treats.
4th of July Parade | July 4, 2026 | Downtown Grand Junction
Enjoy Independence Day with the wide, pedestrian-friendly sidewalks that provide plenty of room to watch as intricate floats, performances, and music saunter down the twists and turns of Main Street from 1st to 9th Street.
4th of July Celebration & Fireworks | July 4, 2026 | Lincoln Park, Grand Junction
Celebrate the 4th of July with daytime festivities at the pool and park, then gather for a fireworks show —a local favorite in Lincoln Park. The Razorback Suckers will play against the Tucson Saguaros in a thrilling game of baseball at Suplizio Field. The field is right next to Lincoln Park, so at the end of the game, fireworks light up the sky over the stadium.

Water Lights at Night | October 10, 2026 | Butterfly Pond, Grand Junction

This glowing event features floating lanterns, food trucks, live music, and a magical evening atmosphere along the water.
After the lantern release, the Grand Junction America 250 – Colorado 150 Drone Show will begin. As one of the signature state-wide events, hundreds of drones will illuminate the night sky with a themed light show commemorating 250 years of U.S. history and 150 years of Colorado history.
